Beacon Villages Journal
Comment

This should be a glorious month. Probably like a lot of you, I start off dreading Christmas, with all the disruption and work involved but then, slowly, it starts to creep up on you. As I write in the last week in November we have been having cold frosty mornings followed by glorious sunny days. And, to be honest, it started to feel like Christmas. Then, searching for the couple of musical items - the front page and the church page - I have found myself listening to an awful lot of carols, and enjoying myself immensely.

I am afraid this issue of the Journal, however, is going to be a little thin as I have been too busy to get out and take many photos. I am hoping that if the promised snow arrives by the end of this week, I will have to make a special effort to get some shots.

The project I have been working on is, of course, Church House. The builders have virtually finished now but I am still being hampered in getting the new photos for the

guide book and web site, of both the outside and the inside, because of the little items of work that still need completion and therefore the builders and equipment inside and the parked vehicles outside. We are expecting the area outside of the building to be designated as 'disability parking only' but, until then, I have to keep driving along there in the hope of getting a clear shot.

If I do not get everything finished by December 1st, I will publish those items as soon as I can.
