The site has been running, in various guises, since late April 2003.  

Archive 1 : It was initially started as being a view of the world as seen through the eyes of our horse, Alezane.  
Archive 2 : The first change was to include the local area in this view.  
Archive 3 : June saw the first launch of the revised site, under the title of www.south-zeal.co.uk.  
Archive 4 : This grew to include, by September, much of the content that we have today.  
Archive 5 : October saw the next re-launch, under the name www.beacon-villages.co.uk, with a monthly Journal, to widen the site's appeal.  
Archive 6 onwards : As the site has remained much the same, structurally, since then, these contain only the front page and the monthly Journal content.
