Children's Fancy Dress 2005

It's not going to rain on this years carnival.it can't, not again !

Watching all weather reports available on all T.V channels was the name of the game, and well maybe we're going to get away with it. "Possible light showers in the morning, but clearing by early afternoon, to leave a dry day" So they said! Say no More!!!

Even the wet start to the days events couldn't dampen what was one of the best Carnival 's in recent years. The Village Hall soon packed full of eager people wanting to take part (and that was just the mums & dads) and what followed were some wonderful costumes and displays which show that we all can put on a great show if we put our minds to it.

The Tavistock Majorettes performed in somewhat cramped conditions but did a very good job to entertain everyone.and what about their junior section display. massive talent in such little people.

The afternoon's events were introduced and kept in order by Sarah Bazley( Thanks Sarah) and most classes had entries of a very high standard making the judging difficult.
