Okehampton Library
We have been asked to publicise the Reading Rollercoaster, which will take place during the summer holidays. It starts on Friday 16 th July and children will need to pick up a collector folder from the library. When they have read and returned their books they are given a sheet of stickers so that the track can be completed on the folder and set the rollercoaster on its way. There are six sheets to collect which also feature different characters. The children will be expected to complete their six favourite books on the folder as their star attraction books. When the collector folder is completed the child will receive a medal and a certificate. |

Plastic Milk Bottle Tops
We have already taken several sacks to Mr & Mrs Jewell, Rose Cottage, Throwleigh Road, who are collecting these as part of the Lions Club - they advise us that the collection has been tremendous and that one child has already received a wheelchair and they are now collecting again and hoping to find another outlet for them. If you can deliver bags direct to them, please do so, otherwise continue to send them in to school and Sue will drop them off
