 I have now settled my first complaint with West Devon Council, regarding the mobility disabled being able to purchase parking tickets for Council parking sites. These can now be purchased in advance, by contacting the Council, thus eliminating the need for mobility disabled people to have to walk to the ticket machine and back, before going shopping. My wife has used the system and, apart from not being able to pay by debit card on the web (which means that it costs disabled people more to park than the non disabled - postage, cheque charges, etc.), it works well. I am now following up my second complaint which was that the Council has no systematic requirement for Council members to get advice from disability specialists, before taking decisions which affect disabled people in the same way that they would get the Borough Engineer's advice if it were a Highways matter, etc. I will keep you informed as to the outcome.

It allows you to give an opinion on anything and, if the response warrants it, they will pass the mass opinions on. I've not expressed that very well but have a look and you will see what I mean. It is murder if you have Norton Anti Virus on, as you have to keep allowing it to use your password, but it is still fun. I must be one of the few who voted for England to beat Portugal - after the match!
