I would like to thank you for your website. I am very
interested as my ancestors came from these areas and it is
just great to be able to see photos of the villages etc.
Would it be at all possible to buy photos of these villages?

My reply to Shirley included the following :

Virtually all the photo (apart from the excellent ones from Robin Tilley of
South Zeal) are ones I have taken around the area and are free for anyone to
download. I am sorry if I am telling you something that you already know, but just in
case you don't. -

You can download any picture from the web, just by clicking the right button
on your mouse (unless the owners don't want you to and have disabled this
facility). You will see a list of choices including :

save picture as (you can put a copy on your hard disc)
email picture (you can sent it to an e-mail address)
print picture (you can print it on your machine)

Some pictures are better quality than others. In order to make the site
pages appear quickly, we have to reduce the quality to make the file
smaller. You will find that the photos in the Photo Album are of a higher
quality than those on the normal pages.

I have just realised that she didn't say 'these photographs', just 'photographs, so I guess that if any of you have any photos of the area that you would be willing to sell her, why not get in touch?
