South Tawton Bell Ringers

South Tawton Ringers practice night is on Tuesdays from about 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm. at St Andrews Church South Tawton, from October to May. If anyone wishes to learn the art of bell ringing, (we are Devon Call Change Ringers) do get in touch. All are welcome to come along but please phone, before 6.30 pm, if you are thinking of turning up, in case there has been a change of plan.

We can usually accommodate requests for bells to be rung on special occasions or for funerals including muffled peals.

Our 'season' officially starts with dancing at dawn at Nine Maidens on May 1st. You'd be surprised how many people come and watch! Everyone invited - 5.30 am - then back to Devvy for breakfast!!

I will keep you in touch with our programme - which is currently being drawn up as fast as Morris can visit all the pubs and agree dates - he says its a hard job, but someone's got to do it!.

Short Mat Bowls
We meet every Monday night, between 8 - 10 pm in Victory Hall, South Zeal.
Come and join us, beginners or experienced, it doesn't matter, we play for fun!

There is an opportunity to play in the League, during the Winter, if you want.
