A little bit better this month, in terms of number of visits, which now puts May into second spot after March. One noticeable change however, was in average duration of visit, which has gone up to over three minutes for the first time. This has the effect of making May our best so far, in terms of hours spent on the site. Another first, 10 visits were over an hour long and another 9 were over 45 minutes!

Another encouraging trend is the growing popularity of the Journal pages, which I hope is due to an increase in local interest. Again, as last month, I would ask you to let the friends on your e-mail list know about us and make sure that your club or society sends me activity and event detailsto publish!
With regard to that last remark, there was an instance last month that set me wondering. The Carnival committee had to cancel the date for their BBQ because it clashed with another local event. I do not know if there is a central register of events in our area, so that local clubs can organise their dates within it, but if there is not, our Events Calendar, could be used as such, if local organisations wanted it to be. I would be very happy to keep it up to date, as long as I was given the information.
