Alternative Okehampton
Colourful houses Industrial feature Like a victorian seaside town

It occurred to me, as I have driven in and out of Okehampton on my various shopping expeditions, that there were a lot of little nooks and crannies that one only catches glimpses of, as you drive by and, with the amount of change going on in the town, I should try and capture some of these sights before they have gone forever. In fact, one of the places where I had seen some charming but derelict buildings, up an alley, proved to be a case in point, for when I went there to snap them, I found one re-developed building up for rent and several piles of granite rubble.
