Why go to a Village Hall craft fair, when there are many shops in the towns and city, bursting with goods to tempt you?
Well, firstly, you can drive there along nearly empty roads and parking at Belstone Hall is no problem at all, Secondly, all the goods are hand made by craftsmen/women with a feel for their material and an interest and pride in their workmanship. (Second hand books are
books - that's enough justification.) Thirdly, it is a nice friendly place to be and catch up with people you know. And, of course, lastly - it's all for a very good cause, the Village Hall itself, the hub of the community!
