Medieval Dancing
St George's Day in South Zeal brought the crowds to the King's Arms to enjoy a very enlightening cultural event. Patriots from all over the County thronged to watch the local zealots perform dances long held sacred and passed down from generation to generation.
However, some rowdy element (probably from Chagford) suggested that it would only be democratic if everyone was allowed to join in. From that moment, I am afraid that things sort of degenerated into a knees up. The bar was open!
In the end, the exhausted dancers repaired to change costumes and prepare themselves for the rigors of the Ramsley Pace Egg thing!
