The Throwleigh Archive will hold an exhibition in the Village Hall to launch their new book Throwleigh: pictures and memories from a Dartmoor Parish.  The exhibition will show several hundred of the best photographs from the Archive, together with some fascinating printed material and other exhibits relating to the recent history of the Parish (including Murchington and Wonson).  There will also be an opportunity to examine some of the primary sources – maps, parish and electoral registers, etc.  The book will be on sale at £15, and teas and lunches will be available.  Free admission.  Enquiries to Michael Paget (01647 231213) or Dawn Hatton (01647 231051)
