Wheatley Scenes

Photos by Sue Wonnacott

Wheatley Farm in the snow

Sue has not been able to write much this month, as she has not been well and, instead of enjoying her half term break from school,
she has been to and fro to the doctors.

However, when she gave me her photos this month, I was particularly pleased with the two shots of the farm and of Ramsley Common in the snow, so I have produced them here
both in their original form and as a cropped panoramic view.

I don't think Sue will mind me saying that the snow pictures had a heavy blue colour cast which is common in scenes like this.
I hope both the cropping and reduction of this cast will encourage others of you to discover the really good photos that you have, all the time, hidden in your otherwise ordinary looking pictures.

I took a stroll towards the village, where the hedge had been cut beside Ramsley Common
– lorries and cars had been dragging huge branches off as they passed before the volunteers tidied it up.
