Match Report

This top of the table feature match brought two teams of a very high
calibre together. South Zeal were strongly represented in the
Okehampton Under 8 team (Reese Peacock, William May, Robbie Bell, Ben & Sam Stratton, Brandon Horn) which took on a fit and vigorous Barnstaple team.
In strong sunshine the local team  came through 11 to 10 in a nail
biting finish. This was a tribute to the scoring ability of the
Stratton twins, William May and Brandon Horn and a strong defensive
performance by Robbie Bell. Both teams put on a top class performance.
This standard of rugby reflects well on all the boys
as well as Mark their coach.

ps I asked Tom which side was which, as I am not a sports fan. He replied:

"Hoops are Okehampton ..... and for those that need to tell the difference between the identical twins Ben & Sam .. Ben wears white boots and Sam Black ... ??? or is it the other way round?"
