Subject: Music

As a regular user of the site, I find it very good and informative with the
exception of the music!

I feel it is totally unnecessary, and only distracts from reading the web
pages

Otherwise, very well done

Jim Goodwin

thanks Jim, you probably know you can turn the music off, either on the page concerned or, if you prefer, on your own machine.

I have headphones permanently plugged into my machine so I only listen to things I want to.

It's nice to get feedback though. You may have seen Helen Cooper's new page. She has included a poll and I had to warn her that, in the two years I have been running the site. I have only had about 20 e-mails (and most of those from folk wanting something, for which I was grateful)

What I didn't say to Jim was that the music has another purpose. The front page carries some new photos each month which I would like folk to see. To turn the music off/down on the page requires you to scroll down the page past these photos. This month's music- "Krieger-Menuet"
What do you think?

Taking Helen Cooper's idea, I thought I'd try and find out what you think.
