READERS REVIEWS

Cosmogirl http://www.cosmogirl.com/

Cosmogirl is sold all over the world in many languages and I have a subscription to it. It now comes out every three weeks, so instead of being called the May issue for example they are all based on a theme (one of the latest editions was the global issue). As well as information on the topic being covered, there is also a 'funny stories page' called confessions, fashion pages, make up pages, ideas for your hair, real life stories, various quizzes, guys confessions, interviews with stars, pics of fit celebrities, problems solved, movie and music reviews, internet competitions and horoscopes. Quite a variety really! As you can see it covers several different things so there is probably something you would enjoy. H.C.

Unfortunately I have not had any suggestions for our reviews page -if you have read, watched or played something that you thought was really good recently please recommend it to our other readers

Book Review

My review of : The Story of Charlotte Chavholts Children.

http://www.kidz-books.co.uk/

I like this book because it is very easy to get into the main flow of the story.

This book is about a girl called Charlotte who works in a mill by a little town called Bartonsby. She is 25 years old and likes horses, dancing, writing novels/stories.

She had never let her children have a horse until........

Title: Infernal Devices

Author: Philip Reeve

note for those who have not read Mortal Engines and Predators Gold:

READ THEM!!! you wont have a clue with out reading them.

Infernal Devices. this is the third in the Mortal Engines series by Philip Reeve.

This is 14/15 years since Predators Gold and now Wren Natsworthy, a young slightly rebellious girl is in the picture. Due to her rebellious and inquisitive nature she finds her self on an adventure, just like the ones her parents won't tell her about. One night Wren sneaks out and follows a former Lost Boy, Carl down to the beach. a lost boy-well man- talking to Carl notices Wren in the tree's and that is the start of her own adventure. she had no idea what would happen and weather or not she could trust the people She was around. she finds a lot about Tom and Hester's past's and adventures, along the way she meets up with the least likely people and in strange places.

Infernal Devices is a great read and the whole series are addictive, now well have to wait for the release of A Darkling Plain. Who knows what Philip Reeve's mind has in store for the family, we'll have to see what comes out of Dartmoor . . .
