A tribute to Cindy & Richard
by David Wyatt & Robin Tilley

The Lyrics for those with normal eyesight

Have you been for a drink at the Kings?
Rich says, "it's one of those things
You can talk about roofing
Or join the lads spoofing
And join in when Dave Denford sings."
Whenever you want a good meal
Go to Cindy and Richard at Zeal
The food is fantastic
But wear loose elastic
For your waist will expand a great deal!
Richard the landlord of the Kings
Plays the guitar and sometimes he sings
But his customers' greatest delights
Are those wonderful nights
When he does neither of those things.
When I go out it's for a pint at the Kings
A place to see all sorts of things
Smiths, writers, lawyers and roofers
Plus a team of late night spoofers
And some nights even the landlord sings.
There was a young fella called Kevin
When shooting was in seventh heaven
But a pint at the bar
Just didn't go far
So he said, "I'd better have ten in."
At the Kings in South Zeal there's a barman
Who says, "while your pasty's a warmin'
I'm afraid that'll be
Seven pound eighty three -
Call it ten, 'cos there's nothing in farmin'."
