I don't doubt most of you have your own favourite web sites 'book marked' in your browser. This page is produced for the local people in the Beacon Villages area who may not wish to drive into their local town, only to be disappointed that the item that they would like is not available.
The number of times I have been told "we did have one but we sold it" or "there's no demand for them" or "I can get you one" has been enough to make me buy all but the most common items from the Internet. I am aware of all the "use it or lose it" arguments but I am afraid we have already lost it (if we ever had it at all!)
Apart from shopping, there are other experiences that are available on the Internet which can enrich our lives. For example, you can 'go' to the Tate Gallery without having to move out of your home.
