South Tawton News
A view from the hen house!
  • A white Christmas!
How lovely South Tawton looked cloaked in snow on Christmas day.
  • Jennifer Howard would like to thank all her wellwishers for their cards and gifts while she was in hospital. As you see she is making a great recovery....'I just need to be patient with myself and not try to do too much too soon'.

A kitten is not just for Christmas.....South Tawton welcomes 'Captain Hardy'. Thank you to those who hinted to Michael that I wanted a cat...it worked. Thanks also to Joan who offers shelter to strays and looked after this kitten until he decided to adopt us!

  • The Christingle Service at South Tawton Church was both delightful and moving.
  •  Standing room only - parents looked on with a mixture of pride and trepidation as their little darlings performed at the Christingle Service in St. Andrew's Church, South Tawton on 21st December 2004. £103 was collected for the CofE Children's Society.

South Zeal W.I. meets on the second Thursday of every month at 7:30 p.m. in Victory Hall.
