I'm sure many of you remember Dot Bassett.She lived opposite the King's Arms, taught in the school here and rode around the area on her pony Pepsi.

She moved away from the area to be nearer her grandchildren and last Xmas I put up her (self drawn) Xmas card to say hello to everyone here who knew her.

I just got this year's card and thought I put it up again. She says it is "Dot & Sophie at Christmas Tree Farm in N. Luffenham"

She says life is good 'grandchildren minding, singing and teaching in the village school'. Oh, and by the way, she went to Peru and walked over the Andes this year. It must have made Cosden look a bit small!
