Beacon Villages Journal
Site Statistics

A mixed set of stats this month. The good news is that the number of visits is up by 13% to its highest level ever. The bad news is that visitors are staying for a smaller amount of time. In the previous month (October) it would appear that we were 'discovered' by the Californians and they spent a considerable amount of time on the site, probably downloading pictures from the archives. Last month, more came back, but just to check out the latest updates and so not spend so much time. Who knows? It is all a guess. But at least we have gone from 1383 visits when stats started in October 2003 to 4585 in November 2004. That must be some sort of progress!

California 44%, Great Britain 20% and Ecuador, nowhere in sight! I am happy to see the European countries making an appearance and puzzled by the placing of South Korea (welcome, of course, but what just do they make of a sleepy village in Devon?)
