When the Owlsfoot Garage came on the market, this was the opportunity to both work for himself again and also to work with his son, at a job that they both enjoy. The fact that Dave only lives a three minute walk from the garage, was an added incentive.
This local amenity offers all the services you would expect from a main dealer, including servicing, repairs & welding, MOT preparation submission and return, tyres, balancing and tracking, batteries and exhausts, valeting and even a forecourt commission sales outlet for those wishing to sell privately.

The one thing that I don't understand, though, is why Andrew gets to drive the flash cars home whilst Dave goes down the hill to Ramsley Lane on a battered old bicycle?
The garage is open Monday to Friday, 8.30 - 6.00 and on Saturdays, Sue manages to get rid of him from 8.30 - 12.00. After more than 6 months of working for himself, the only thing Dave misses is the occasional tin of Ambrosia Creamed Rice.
