South Zeal Recreation Ground

Recreation Ground Autumn Tidy up !

Following the success of last years event, we are going to try to keep the good work going by asking for volunteers once again
to help give their time and muscle power on Saturday 26 th November

We have many jobs that need doing including hedge trimming, tree work , tidying of borders, clearance of scrub and debris ,
fence painting and a general freshen up of the whole place.

We also wish to continue the work already started to top the hedge between the fields

We hope to have fresh bark to top up the play area and this will need spreading.

The list goes on ... The volume of work will only be achieved if we get volunteers to turn up on the day

Last years event was well supported and everyone enjoyed getting "stuck in" to help.

Our recreation ground like your garden does need maintenance and as it is a parish and community asset, the people of the parish and community can help keep it a place for all to enjoy.

On the day we need hedge trimmers, strimmers, saws, pruners, forks, shovels & transport i.e. Tractors & trailers and most importantly PEOPLE.

If you can assist with any machinery or particular skill please get in touch

The Recreation Ground Committee will provide refreshments for the helpers.

If you can help, please contact Andy White on 01837 840443 or email andrew@towncott202.fsnet.co.uk prior to the day if possible
so we can allocate jobs to be done
