Many of you will know Cherry Mawle, mother of Jim Mawle of Willey Farm, Sticklepath, mother in law to Rebecca and grandmother to Declan, Holly, Joe and Imogen. Even if you don't know the farm or don't have kids at the school you could well have seen her as a St John's Ambulance presence at any of the big local events. If you don't go to those events , she may well have served you at the Mole Avon filling station. If not, you may have ridden in her taxi at Okehampton. This is all when she is not helping Jim on the farm.

You may have gathered that Cherry is a worker. You would think that she has enough to do with her time. If you do, you would be wrong. Cherry also runs a Customised Embroidery Service, providing logos, emblems and decoration for individuals, businesses and sporting clubs.

She has recently launched her own web site with examples of her work and typical prices, so that people can contact her secure in the knowledge that they are not letting themselves in for more than they would want to pay.
