To try to keep the site fresh and up to date, several items that obviously were of no interest to the local community have been withdrawn. In their place, a more flexible structure of presenting items of interest, as they happen , is being introduced.

For example, in place of the specific page set aside for sport, a local event such as the carnival or the Riding for the Disabled Dartmoor Fun Ride can be given the space as a special item.

It has to be admitted that this is a stop gap measure, awaiting a more radical change to the site, as soon as the revision can be completed. It is apparent that there is more interest in the site in other parts of the country and abroad than there is locally. This is natural and only to be expected, for if you live here, you do not need to go to a computer to see what it’s like. The new revised site, when it comes, should reflect this by being a bit broader based, while still featuring the best of the local area and, of course, any items or stories that local people wish to be included.

Please keep your requests and submissions coming. No local event, attraction or service will be turned away.
